Trout fishing and Burger van re-open on the 15th March

The extent of the main fishing area will be marked out with marker posts. These
marker posts will be erected at about 30metres north of the main lay-by on the
A823, and at about 30metres from the dam structure. This will be the area used
for normal day to day fishing.
If the fishery bailiffs are approached by individual fishermen, other areas can be used for specimen fishing. This would be an exception to the normal fishing area. If there is interest shown by fishing clubs, some reduction in total cost of a days fishing can be negotiated. The area of the car park and picnic tables are widely used during the season so bring the family, some nice walks in the area as well as some very interesting wildlife. |
